New Single by Anietie – ‘My Whole Life’

Anietie Bature, simply referred to as Anietie, is an amazing Nigerian born gospel singer, worshipper, song writer, performing artist, music director, blogger and career woman. She is a graduate of Chemical Engineering and a Masters Degree holder in Environmental Technology & Management.
Anietie has been a lover of music from her childhood days. She has also been in various choirs such as Children’s Choir of the Lutheran Church of Nigeria, Efut Parish, Calabar; Christian Unity Chapel Choir of FGGC Calabar; The Living Vessels (TLV) of FUT Minna; Family Worship Center Abuja; Good Tiding Bible Church Abuja; and the Lagos Community Gospel Choir (LCGC). She was also a pioneer member of the Prophetic Praise Summit (PPS), Abuja and has served as worship leader in a number of these groups.
She is passionate about sharing her music with the world and this led to her debut album “REVEALED” produced by Flo with hit track ‘Take Over’. REVEALED is simply one of the many expressive sides of her persona. The album shows the multi-faceted perspective to Anietie’s artistry as she is amazingly unassuming.
Now volunteering as music director in a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and whilst still joggling several balls, Anietie has found time to put together this beautiful piece titled “My Whole Life” produced by iChek. This song will blow your mind and take you to another realm of total surrender. It’s a song that is sure to be on repeat on your playlist for a long time. For the true worshipper this song is the real deal. Anietie who has had the opportunity to minister in the UK, Denmark and Germany has put all that experience into every vocal note in this amazing piece and this is sure to bless you.
Anietie is married to her sweetheart, Kingsley Bature, and they are blessed with three kids.

My Whole Life by Anietie Bature

On March 31, 2017, my new single ‘My Whole Life’ was released. When asked to say something about this song,  I recalled that I had prayed the words of this song for years and on this particular morning in January 2016 the words came together into a beautiful melody and we’ve been singing it since. I love it, my hubby loves it, the kids love it, everybody loves it.

I enjoyed working on this song with iChek (@IykeChekwa) who produced it, and we had superb backing vocals by Lauretta Cookey (@lauryee143), Emem Alfred (@alfredemem), and Olanrewaju Awosika. These guys are power houses on their own. It was indeed an honor to have them lend their voices to this work.

The expertise of our ever so skillful instrumentalists came to bear as well with iChek on the keyboard, Gideon Itimi (@Ministerwow) on the bass guitar, David Ubani (@davemark9) on the lead guitar, and John Osadolo on drums. Saviour Amos (@saviour_amos) and Edward Sunday were the audio engineers for this project; Edward also mixed and mastered this song. Fantastic! Team work is good work; especially when each member of the team can hold their own and is happy to contribute to the overall success of that team.

Who I am and Why I'm here

Who am I? I’m a singer, songwriter, chemical & environmental engineer, wife to one husband, and mother to three wonderful children whom I learn from day after day.

As I go through life, I try to learn from my experiences and those of others. I believe we can create a better tomorrow by applying these lessons so I share them on my blog so others can benefit. You can call this my little contribution to make the world a better place, one lesson at a time.

A dose of motivation is needful every now and then. Sometimes the pressures of life hit hard and bring us down to the point where we even begin to consider giving up. When I feel the need, I do not hesitate to push out some positivity pills to boost the morale of a weary man on a good mission and get him back on his feet. So, yes. You’ll find some motivational pieces here.

Goal setting, planning, work-life balance, family life, purpose, destiny, and success are some of the things that interest me. I love to work hard towards set goals and to celebrate when the job is done. Achievements keep me motivated.

If blogging can serve as a platform for networking, I hope it brings me in contact with people of integrity who believe that they have all it takes and then take deliberate steps everyday to be all and to accomplish all they were created to.
